Bembridge
On the East corner of The
Island is the small village of Bembridge. It has a harbour and Lifeboat
Station as well as Culver cliffs as a backdrop. St. Helens Duver is also nearby and in between the two are the many house boats of which one is a Tea rooms and another Bed & Breakfast. There are seven more picture galleries to look at; see links at the bottom of the page!

View from Bembridge Ledge as looking toward
Culver cliff seen in the distance. The nice little Beach Cafe is to the
right of this picture and is highly recommended, it is quiet and peaceful
here.
Parking is very limited at the Crab & Lobster Inn nearby so use the free car park at the very end of Forelands Field Road which is accessed by turning right just before entering the narrow road just prior to the Crab & Lobster Inn. The car park is 50 yds from this picture. |

This is looking in the other direction possibly a hundred meters up the beach from the previous view. Bembridge Life Boat Station can just be seen.
The rocky ledge on the beach is quite unusual and there are plenty of small rockpools. |

Bembridge Life Boat Station on a fine day. It was a nice walk along the coast to here, good for beachcombers. |
