The Needles Landmark Attraction

Located at the famous Needles and Alum Bay this attraction is for family fun and some glorious views along the way. Take the chairlift, or a boat cruise or take in some of the smaller amusements, Alum Bay glass, cafe, gift shop and ample parking. Maybe walk up or catch the bus up to The New or Old Battery?

What Alum Bay is famous for is its natural coloured sands, visitors used to be able to collect and fill their objects with this sand but the collection part was stopped many years ago due to erosion and safety reasons. Sand is collected and is ready to use within the shop selling the sand ornaments, or purchase pre-filled. It is possible to walk down steps to the beach rather than the chairlift if this is not your thing. Look outs at the bottom of long carved out passageways from The Needles Old Battery above.

The Needles On the end of the famous Needles is the Lighthouse as visible from a boat trip.
