The Needles New Battery

A free attraction and close to the Old Battery, fantastic views on a good day, a couple of underground rooms to explore and many concrete structures from the rocket test site during The Cold War. A popular high up viewing edge is above Scratchell's Bay which can only be accessed by boat. No parking or facilities.

The New Battery Quite a few people come up here for a wonder about, the refreshment kiosk underground is no more. It is possible to get the bus up to here, it is sometimes an open top deck bus. Underground information room. Just some of the large rocket bases up here, some great views.
