The Fisherman's Cottage

Very old and very small, picture postcard thatched pub virtually on the beach and is at one of the entrances to Shanklin Chine. Good views and reasonable amount of outdoor seating - no children's play areas although the beach is a couple of yards away! This pub is not open all year. Iconic and highly recommended.

A bit of a sun trap down here, and although The Fisherman's Cottage gets busy this is the quieter end of Shanklin Beach. Limited amount of seating inside the pub because it is so small. The Fishermans Cottage The Beach Bar just out of view is a new addition.
